Overview
A dune buggy lets you cover more ground than a quad, in a more stable two-seater vehicle with a roll cage. Around Merzouga, buggy safaris combine the sandy edges of Erg Chebbi with the stony plains around it, where nomad families graze their herds.
Your guide leads the way to viewpoints over the dunes and, on longer outings, to the black-stone plains and sunset spots. Driver requirements, such as a driving licence, are set by the operator and confirmed before booking.
