Overview

Five days allow you to see southern Morocco without rushing. This loop starts with the old Glaoui kasbah of Telouet, reached by a quiet mountain road off the main pass, and a night at Ait Ben Haddou so you can see the ksar in the soft evening and morning light, when the day visitors have gone.

You then explore the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses, walk through the red rock formations of the Dades Gorges and continue via the Todra Gorge to the Erg Chebbi dunes for a night at camp. The return follows the southern road through Rissani and Alnif to N’Kob, a village of kasbahs where you sleep in a traditional earthen guesthouse, before the final drive back to Marrakech through the Draa Valley.
