Overview
Ideal for travellers who fly into Ouarzazate or have already explored Marrakech, this tour heads east along the road of a thousand kasbahs and finishes in Fes. You visit the Skoura oasis, the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorges on the first day, then the Todra Gorge on the way to Merzouga.
Two nights near Erg Chebbi give you a full day to explore Khamlia, Rissani and the dunes. The final day crosses the Ziz Valley, Midelt and the Middle Atlas cedar forest to Fes. The pace is relaxed, which makes this tour comfortable for families.

Day 1
Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley
Skoura’s palm grove and kasbahs, the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorges. Night in the Dades Valley.

Day 2
Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga desert camp
Walk in the Todra Gorge, then drive to Merzouga for a camel ride and a night at camp.

Day 3
A day around Erg Chebbi
Khamlia’s Gnawa musicians, Rissani’s market and free time on the dunes. Second night near the dunes.

Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Drive north through the Ziz Gorges, Midelt and the cedar forest to Fes.
