Booking
How do I book a tour?
Send a request from the tour page, the tailor-made form or WhatsApp. We reply with a written proposal; your booking is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible for spring, autumn and holidays. Last-minute requests are welcome and depend on availability.
Can I change my dates after booking?
Changes are often possible depending on availability. The conditions are given in your quotation.
Payment
How do I pay?
Payment methods, any deposit and the balance due date are stated in your written quotation. See our Booking & Payment Information page.
Are prices per person or per group?
It depends on the service. Private tours are often priced per group size; your quotation shows the details.
Sahara tours
How many days do I need for the Sahara from Marrakech?
Two days for Zagora; at least three for the high dunes of Merzouga. Four days is more relaxed.
Merzouga or Zagora?
Merzouga has the tall Erg Chebbi dunes and the Dades and Todra gorges on the way. Zagora is closer, with smaller dunes.
How long is the camel ride?
Usually one to two hours each way between the edge of the dunes and the camp.
Accommodation
What kind of accommodation is used?
Hotels, riads and kasbahs in towns and valleys, and desert camps in the dunes. You choose standard, superior or luxury.
Do desert camps have bathrooms?
Standard camps may have shared facilities; luxury camps usually offer private en-suite tents. We confirm details in your quotation.
Transport
What vehicle will we travel in?
A private air-conditioned vehicle (car, 4×4 or minibus depending on group size) with a driver.
Do you pick up from airports?
Yes, from airports, hotels, riads and ferry ports.
Seasons
When is the best time to visit the Sahara?
Spring and autumn are the most comfortable. Winter nights are cold and summer days very hot. Read our seasonal guide.
Does it snow in Morocco?
Yes, in the Atlas Mountains and around Ifrane in winter, which can affect mountain roads.

Can activities be added to a tour?
Yes: quad, buggy, sandboarding, 4×4, cooking classes and more.
